They
say life is the best teacher. I say life is the toughest teacher because it is
the only school where, the test precedes the lessons. Ever since we enrolled to
the ‘School of Life’ we all have learned a thing or two about life and how to
live it. Here are some lessons I have learned in life.
- Love with all your heart without the expectation of getting it back. The more you give the more you have!
- You can’t change a darn thing by worrying, anticipating, speculating, stressing or obsessing. Only God can! What’s meant to be will be!
- Life will keep throwing the same test at you, until you learn the lesson!
- You don’t have to bend over backwards to please everybody. You can’t please everyone so stop trying!
- Not every person you meet in your life is meant to stay.
- Relax, chill and enjoy life once in a while. We get so caught up in the process of life that we forget to live it!
- Don’t rush anything. Let things take their normal course. Remember, if you set a caterpillar free of the cocoon before it’s time, it will die!!
- Never lose yourself in the process of gaining someone.
- Learn from every experience and never let an opportunity pass by.
- Remember to appreciate and give gratitude for what you have and you will be given more things to be grateful for.
- You get what you settle for.
- Sometimes it’s difficult to explain or understand why bad things happen but they are there for a reason.
- What is meant to be yours will come to you and stay, what’s not meant to be yours no matter how much you try will never be.
- Don’t be so quick to judge and don’t be too quick to trust.
- There are always two sides to every story. If not more! ;)
- Not every incident that happens in your life is an omen, sometimes things just happen.
- Talk less, Listen more.
- Learn to live with the consequences of your decisions and to make peace with it!
- Every person, every encounter, and every situation has something to teach you.
- There is only so much you can do about certain things.
- Never let your expectations go wild and you will eliminate a lot of disappointment and frustration.
- Some people just don’t deserve a fraction of your time or a piece of your mind and heart.
- Learn to differentiate between what/who matters and what/who doesn't.
- Things change, people change, we change; the only thing that doesn't change is God.
